Pitting
Process
Technological equipment for sour cherry pitting includes fruit washing section , foreign bodies removing section and fruit calibrating section. After washing and calibrating is done, sour cherries are directed to pitter machines. When pitting is done, sour cherries without stones are directed to the flow freezer. After depitted sour cherry has been frozen, the final product is subject of packaging, weighting, labeling and palletising.

Final product quality control assures us that in final product - IQF sour cherry without stones - there are no parts of cherry stone left. The product is not damaged, with typical taste and color of sour cherry.

The capacity of pitting machine is the processed volume of 1,5 t per hour or 10 tons of sour cherry oblacinska per one shift.
